STAY2GROW at the forum “Zusammen - Leben vor Ort” in Kamp-Lintfort

In order to raise awareness of the STAY2GROW project within local municipalities, we regularly participate in external working groups and events.

For example, project manager Josephine Runge took part in the forum “Zusammen - Leben vor Ort" in Kamp-Lintfort to present STAY2GROW and establish new contacts with regional stakeholders. The forum was founded in 2011 as an independent network of committed individuals from institutions, associations, faith communities, clubs, and public authorities in Kamp-Lintfort. It provides an accessible platform for participants from various organisations and communities to exchange ideas with the goal of improving coexistence among all citizens of Kamp-Lintfort—regardless of origin or religious affiliation.

Over the years, various project groups have been established and numerous activities have been carried out for and with the local community. Key topics include language support, sports, senior citizens, and culture. One example is the large “festival of fultures.”

At the most recent forum meeting, Josephine Runge reported on the current status of the project and presented opportunities for participation to all attendees. Support can be provided within the respective working groups (counselling & placement, sports, culture), or on a more flexible basis for specific events, as well as in the role of mentors for students and individuals who have dropped out of their studies. Companies may also act as sponsors.

The aim of the STAY2GROW project is to successfully connect students with companies and the local community across the “wir4” municipalities Kamp-Lintfort, Moers, Neukirchen-Vluyn, and Rheinberg. This requires joint commitment. We would like to thank all those who are already actively supporting us and hope that our network continues to grow.

The STAY2GROW project team is available at any time for further questions.
